EcoCulture Foundation

Nature Tourism,
Environmental Education, and
Agroecology

EcoCulture is much more than an organization: it is a community of professional women who decided to unite their passion, experience, and commitment to the well-being of their territory. Founded in 2020, in the heart of the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina — the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve — this initiative was created with a clear purpose: to contribute to knowledge, well-being, resilience, and sustainability for the islands and their communities. Through projects focused on social impact, sustainable tourism, agroecology, environmental education, and cultural management, EcoCulture promotes actions that transform realities and protect life in all its forms.

Today, we invite you to become an active part of this transformation. As a volunteer, you can contribute your talents while learning from a territory rich in natural and cultural wisdom. From supporting agroecological farms and participating in environmental tours and educational workshops, to contributing to community conservation projects, your participation will be part of a collective effort backed by more than 10 years of experience on the path toward sustainable development.

EcoCulture is legally established both as an SAS company and as a non-profit foundation, ensuring that our actions are always focused on benefiting the territory rather than capital. Here, your energy becomes real impact. Join EcoCulture and become part of a living network of change inspired by the Caribbean, ancestral wisdom, and a commitment to a regenerative future. We are waiting for you!

What do we do at EcoCulture?

At EcoCulture, we believe in a kind of tourism that transforms lives, protects the territory, and creates real opportunities for women and rural communities in the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina. Through our work, we strengthen the primary sector, generate sustainable income for local communities, and design authentic experiences for both residents and travelers who want to go beyond traditional tourism. Here, every activity has a purpose: to conserve, educate, and empower.

Would you like to be part of this mission? With EcoCulture, you can immerse yourself in the heart of the island through meaningful experiences such as birdwatching tourism, where observing birds becomes a way of contemplating life in its freest and most colorful form. You can also explore ecotourism as a tool for environmental awareness and responsible recreation, or experience rural tourism by joining local communities in their daily lives, connecting with agricultural practices, traditional knowledge, and landscapes that still preserve their ancestral spirit.

And the best part: your volunteering truly makes an impact. A percentage of the income generated by these experiences is reinvested into social and environmental projects led by the EcoCulture Foundation. By joining us, you will not only experience the archipelago from within, but also become an active part of the change we want to create. If you are looking to travel with purpose, learn by doing, and contribute with your hands, mind, and heart, this is your place.

Come be part of EcoCulture and help regenerate paradise!
